8 Day Kenya Classic Safari Tour Nairobi, Sweetwaters, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara 7 nights First Class hotel accommodation includes Nairobi, Sweetwaters Sanctuary, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara Game Reserve, meals, transfers and sightseeing.
Day 1: Tue - Arrive Nairobi After clearing customs and immigration, meet your local Airport host and transfer to your hotel. Nairobi is a cosmopolitan and lively city, the largest between Johannesburg and Cairo. Dinner will be provided at the hotel. HOLIDAY INN NAIROBI ( D )
Day 2: Wed – Sweetwaters Sanctuary After breakfast, your safari takes you North through the lush and tea and coffee plantations, past the Aberdare Mountains and Mount Kenya, Across the Equator line to the famous Olpajeta Ranch that houses Sweetwaters Sanctuary. You arrive at your Tented Camp around noon; and in the late afternoon, you go on a game drive in the park. All meals and overnight at SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP ( B, L, D )
Day 3: Thu - Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary: The chimp sanctuary is the only one of its kind in Kenya. Visitors can enjoy the unique opportunity of observing the chimps by boat on the Uwasi Nyiro River. The riverine forest and the savannah grassland of the sanctuary are home to 26-orphaned chimps. Here one has the opportunity to meet with Poco, who spent six years of his life imprisoned in a small birdcage suspended from a roof, a garage. Now Poco is a handsome, contented chimp, able to explore his habitat. All meals and overnight at SWEETWATERS TENTED CAMP ( B, L, D )
Day 4: Fri - Lake Nakuru National Park After break fast, Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for Lunch and game drive in the park. The lake is home for millions of Pink Flamingoes. After a game drive Continue to Lake Naivasha – the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes. This area is famous for its birdlife – a breeding ground for pelicans, fish eagles, cormorants and more. You will also find other animals such as hippos, zebra, antelopes and Columbus monkeys All meals and overnight at THE GREAT RIFT VALLEY LODGE ( B, L, D )
Day 5: Sat - Masai Mara Game Reserve In the morning, your safari departs for the Masai Mara, driving through the Great Rift Valley and arriving at your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you are taken on a game drive to view the Big Five and other game in the magnificent scenery of the Mara famous for the wildebeest and Zebra migration and its abundance of resident wildlife. Day 6: Sun - Masai Mara Game Reserve Today is taken up with early morning and evening game drives – both with superb photographic opportunities to capture the stately back-manned lion, elephant and various plains game. The day time is free to relax in the lodge and enjoy the available facilities. All meals and overnight at MARA SERENA LODGE ( B, L, D )
Day 7: Mon - Nairobi You depart for Nairobi and have lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. Visit Karen Blixen and Giraffe Center. Later you are transferred to your hotel for overnight stay. Dinner will be on at the hotel. SAFARI PARK HOTEL ( B, L,D )
Day 8: Tue - Depart After an early breakfast, you are transferred to JKIA for your onward flight back home. ( B )
